Process

Finding the Direction Together

The project began with collaborative brand exploration, developing and refining multiple moodboards through client feedback to establish the creative direction. Then, I shaped the website’s information architecture and wireframes before collaborating on the UI design and production, while extending the visual system across digital ads, email, and course materials.

VISUAL LANGUAGE

A Window Into Oxford

The visual language draws from the distinctive gothic tracery found throughout Oxford’s architecture, creating a “window” into Oxford where prospective students can imagine themselves enrolled at OSA.

website

From Concept to Experience

The website was designed to feel refined, immersive, and easy to navigate, reflecting the premium quality of OSA’s educational programs. Large-format imagery creates an immediate sense of place while showcasing student life and bringing the academic programs to life. Each core program was given its own visual identity through colour and shape, helping users navigate the different pathways while maintaining a cohesive brand experience across the site.

Emails

Building a flexible email system with a stronger visual identity

Designed as a modular system, the emails give the OSA team the flexibility to mix and match sections based on their content and campaign needs. The visual language carries through from the website, creating a cohesive experience while introducing a more stylized and engaging approach to their email communications.

iconography

Icons With Character

A custom icon set creates consistency across OSA's course offerings, using a duotone outline and partial-fill style to complement the refreshed and energetic visual identity.

Colour

Rich Colour, Youthful Energy

Transforming the brand's previous pastel accent colours into deep and vibrant secondary colours helps breathe life into the brand. The extended colour palette works across various touchpoints, adding excitement, a fresh feel, and inspiration to OSA's young and intelligent audience.
